My new Full Moon Print in Progress
It's been a great show season so far. I am selling out of several editions this summer, so it's time to get to work. My Pines in Moonlight VIII is very popular and almost gone.

I started working on a new print that will be similar; here's what the block looks like just before I printed the second color. The trees that appear white are actually black on the paper. I printed the black first because it is easier to cut out little tree branches rather than cut background around those tiny lines.

The new print is a 9 x 12 inch frame size. My old print was an 8 x 10 inch frame size. I plan to use similar purple and mauve tones in the background. I can never make two images exactly the same, but I often take an image that has sold well in the past and create something along that theme. My Pines in Moonlight series has been a customer favorite.
Here's a video of the beginning of my process.

I will be at Colorscape Chenango again this year. People ask if I am doing Clothesline Festival. The answer is no; it is just not as profitable aven thoough it is local. To see my show schedule, click the link below.
